Online Reserve Request Services (ORRS)

Online Reserve Request Service (ORRS)

ORRS enables faculty and their authorized designees to submit lists of books, packets and journal articles to be placed on reserve. ORRS can be used to submit requests for both electronic reserves and print reserves. Please note, however, that not all branch libraries utilize ORRS to receive and process requests for reserve course materials. If you wish to place materials on reserve in a branch library, please contact the branch in question before making a request through ORRS.

If you wish your reserve course materials to be held and served by Firestone Reserve/General Periodical Services, please do use ORRS to submit your reserve request. The database web pages are self-explanatory with easy to follow instructions. We encourage you to first read the ORRS Documentation and then try the tutorial version. When you are ready to submit the formal request(s), please e-mail reserve@princeton.edu to request the password for using ORRS.
