Library Education and Training Committee (LETC)Description from most recent PULA Contract: The Library Staff HR Officer (or designee) will be responsible leading the Library Education and Training Committee (LETC). The LETC will assist the Library Staff HR Officer (or designee) in developing programming, marketing, reviewing attendee feedback and in maintaining statistical data on program attendance. The Library Staff Human Resources Officer (or designee) will collaborate with the LETC in the preparation of a comprehensive annual report on Staff Training and Development activities during the year which will be sent to the University Librarian. The committee membership shall consist of (4) bargaining unit staff who are appointed by PULA and (4) professional and/or supervisory staff who are appointed by Library Administration. Members serve a two-year term, with the option of serving a second consecutive term. The committee seeks to serve all library staff members and encourages input from everyone. Please contact the committee if you have a suggestion for a training need or are interested in teaching a session.
