Converting Bibliographic References from EndNote to RefWorks and vice-versa

From EndNote to RefWorks

In Endnote: From Edit--> Output Styles, choose the Refman (RIS Export), and make sure that style is checked for the records you wish to export.

Go to File-->Export, and save as a text file.

In Refworks: Under "Import Filter/DataSource" choose References-->Import and then scroll to BIBSYS (RIS Import Format)
Go to "Import Data from the following Text File" and find your text file, then click Import.

From RefWorks to EndNote

In Refworks: Go to References-->Export
Select the Bibliographic Software (EndNote,Reference Manager,ProCite) button
Click "Export to text file" button.
From the browser, go to File-->Save as and save the file.

In EndNote: Go to File-->Import
Under "Import Data File" browse to your your the text file you just exported.
Under "Import Option" select Reference Manager (RIS)
Click on Import
