Guide to Sorting Monographic Receipts and Gifts1. Follow any instructions in the orders Note and Line item defaults such as give to circ for . Uncat to , AC of , etc. Please note that there are special instructions for marking records for copies ordered as Acx or replacements for Lost and Missing items. 2. Sort out Special cases:
3. For the remaining titles, catalog all books with LC or LC-like copy using the Win-g macro. See LC Copy Guidelines for instructions on determining LC copy. 4. For the remaining titles: The following should be distributed to the No hold shelves: COD books, booksets, serials, multiple copies, oversize or undersize materials , loose-page or unbound receipts. See Sorting guidelines to distribute books. The following should be delivered to the ACCT shelf : Member copy records for SA, Music and Gest that meet certain standards. 5. The remaining books are distributed as No hold or Hold, depending on the location for which they are destined: [Sorting Monographic Receipts and Gifts] [Hold Locations] [No hold Locations] |
